Where sport transforms lives
Hundreds of children find opportunities at Touchdown do Bem to learn, grow, dream and build a better future through flag football.
Numbers that stand for real stories
Every number here is a child who smiled, a family who believed, a life that changed direction.
Boys and girls training side by side, no distinctions.
Families transformed by the power of sport.
Present across Belo Horizonte and the wider metro area.
Sport as every child's right, always.
National recognition of technical excellence.
Flag football joins the Olympic program in Los Angeles.
Born from a dream. Grown with love.
In 2017, Sanders Maciel, Bruno Guilherme and Dayene Nogueira started out with one simple conviction: no child should go without sport because of where they were born. With a field, a ball and a deep commitment to their own community, they brought flag football to children who had never heard of the sport.
What began with a handful of children at a single hub turned into a movement. The kids came back every week, their families came with them, and parents started asking how they could help. Experienced coaches lead every group, with method and with care. The project grew because sport, done well, raises people who look out for one another.
Today, Touchdown do Bem is the largest social flag football project in Brazil: seven hubs, hundreds of children served and national recognition. But what drives us is the same as in 2017 — reaching more children and looking after every one of them, certain that every boy and every girl deserves the chance to learn, to belong and to dream.
We don't deliver sport. We deliver a future. Sport is the path, but the destination is a better life.

Every child here is the lead character in their own story: a leader in the making, a champion in training.
Sport changes far more than the body
A flag football practice is also a lesson in life. Every drill, every play, every loss and every win teaches something that lasts.
Discipline
Focus, commitment and responsibility on and off the field.
Respect
For the team, the opponent, the referee and yourself.
Education
Sport as an extension of the classroom, shaping minds and character.
Friendship
Bonds built on the field that last a lifetime.
Family
Families are part of the team. Together we are stronger.
Leadership
Children who learn to lead by example and by action.
Health
An active body, a healthy mind, a longer future.
Self-esteem
Every touchdown is a win that goes well beyond the scoreboard.
Diversity
Boys and girls, from all backgrounds, united by the same goal.
Inclusion
The field belongs to everyone. No exceptions, no labels, no limits.
"Flag football is the means. Changing a life is the goal."
Sanders Maciel, founder of Touchdown do Bem
7 hubs. 1 mission.
From Belo Horizonte to Ribeirão das Neves, we bring flag football to children across the metro area.
ActiveBarreiro
One of the project's oldest hubs, Barreiro is home to one of the most engaged communities at Touchdown do Bem. Experienced coaches follow each child closely, practice after practice.
ActivePampulha
On the shore of the Pampulha lake, the children train with the sunset behind them. One of our newest hubs, and one of the fastest growing.
ActivePindorama (CIAME)
Run in partnership with CIAME, the Pindorama hub shows how institutions and social work can move together to widen the impact.
ActivePompeia
A lively community: whole families arrive together and many parents stay to watch every practice up close. Here flag football has become a neighborhood gathering.
ActiveCEFET-MG
In partnership with CEFET-MG, this hub brings sport and technology together. Students at the school spend time with the children in the project, and both sides learn from it.
ActiveCidade dos Meninos
The hub farthest from the city center, but never far from our hearts. Cidade dos Meninos marks the project's expansion beyond the capital, taking flag football to those who need it most.
ActiveJonas Barcelos
The newest Touchdown do Bem hub, in Barreiro. It runs two shifts — morning and afternoon — opening flag football to even more children in the area.
One practice. A thousand possibilities.
Touchdown do Bem is not a sports academy. It is a complete human development program. The field is where it starts — but what we offer goes much further.
Academic Support
Tutoring built into the training program. Because the best athlete is also the one doing well at school.
English Classes
Access to a global language, opening doors that once looked closed. The NFL speaks English. So do our kids.
Scholarships
Partnerships with schools and colleges so our children can build their future on solid ground.
Cultural Events
Theater, music, cultural outings. Experiences that widen horizons and feed the spirit.
Big Experiences
Trips to professional games, NFL events and travel to championships. Moments they keep for life.
Human Development
Psychologists, social workers and mentors help our children become not only athletes, but whole people.
Leadership Training
We work on leadership from day one: inside the team, children learn to make decisions on the field, take responsibility and set the example.
Support for Families
The project reaches beyond the children. We follow up with families, guide parents and build a real support network.
We build citizens. We build champions too.
Sport teaches values our children carry for life. And for many of them, it also opens the door to competing at the highest level.
The biggest title in the project's history. Our children were the best in Brazil in the U-10 division.
Our athletes reached the national podium and earned the right to the Bolsa Atleta grant from the Federal Government.
Young athletes on the national podium, proof that Touchdown do Bem also develops high-performance talent.
Representing Minas Gerais with distinction on the national stage.

Bolsa Atleta — Federal Program
By finishing runners-up at the Brazilian National Championship, our Women's U-20 athletes earned the right to the Bolsa Atleta grant from the Federal Government — official recognition of high-performance sport in Brazil.

@touchdowndobemThe people who live it tell it best
Real words from families who watch sport change their children every day.
"We found Touchdown do Bem on Instagram — it was the only place in BH teaching flag football to kids under 10. My son joined nine months ago and he's already a Brazilian U-10 champion. But the project goes far beyond sport: it teaches them to handle frustration, get through hard things and picture a future they couldn't see before. It's not just a project — it's a foundation for these children's lives."

"Touchdown do Bem has been a blessing in my son's life. He's learned discipline, respect, responsibility and teamwork — and he's been happier and more motivated ever since he started. It means so much to know there's a project that believes in children and uses sport to teach what really matters."
Poliana"I'm so grateful to Touchdown do Bem. It has helped us so much, getting our kids off the street and away from their phones. Now they're with other children and learning a lot from their coach."
Ana Nilda"I'm so grateful to Touchdown do Bem. My boys learned not to give up, they put down their phones and they understood that nobody is better than anyone else. They're doing much better at school and giving their best to keep moving forward. Thank you so much."
